Woman, 21, dies after two-vehicle crash

A 21-year-old woman died after a crash between the car she was driving and a van.

The woman was driving a black Renault Twingo when it crashed with the grey Ford Transit in Hawthorn Hill, near Maidenhead, at about 08:40 BST on Saturday.

Her next of kin have been informed and have been offered support by specially trained officers, Thames Valley Police (TVP) said.

Sgt Mark Gawthrop, from TVP, said officers are particularly keen to speak to motorists who might have seen the crash but left before police arrived at the scene.
