US shares are attempting a recovery this Wednesday after two days of losses and what's been a choppy September so far on Wall Street. Investors have been rattled by surging energy costs, escalations in the Middle East conflict, fears over the safety of Artificial Intelligence and uncertainty over whether the US Federal Reserve will raise borrowing rates.
