Woman in hospital after car park collision

A woman in her 80s was injured in the collision at the B&M car park in Stevenage

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after she became trapped between her own car and another vehicle.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage related to the incident which happened at the B&M car park on London Road, Stevenage, on Monday, at about 09:30 BST.

The woman, aged in her 80s, became trapped between her beige Citroen C3 and a white Citroen DS3.

Sgt Nicholas Kane, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have been either walking or driving in the car park at the time and saw the incident to please get in touch."

He also urged people to review their dashcam footage.
