An online appeal has raised nearly £7,000 to help fund Joe Greenslade's funeral

A family has paid tribute to a "deeply loved" and "one-of-a-kind" motorcyclist who died after a three-vehicle crash.

It happened on the A4146 Fenny Stratford bypass in Great Brickhill, Buckinghamshire at about 17:00 BST on 23 April.

Joe Greenslade, who was in his 30s, was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle that collided with a green Fiat 500 and a silver Ford Transit south of the roundabout with Galley Lane.

Relatives of Greenslade, affectionately known as Shrek, said they would miss his "presence, humour, and spirit" more than words could express.

"Joe was truly one of a kind," they said in a statement.

"From his quirky outlook on life to his well-known hatred of vegetables, which he jokingly called poison, he brought laughter and character wherever he went.

"He was often found down by the lake sometimes in peaceful solitude, other times surrounded by his friends but always enjoying the moments he loved most."

They added he would "never be forgotten".

"Joe was deeply loved by so many, and I don't think he ever fully realised just how many lives he touched."
