Body of 16-year-old boy recovered from water near Callander
Police ScotlandA 16-year-old boy has died at a popular beauty spot north-east of Callander.
Police said Charlie Noble's body was recovered from the water at Bracklinn Falls following reports of concern for a person.
Emergency services were called to the incident at about 18:45 on Thursday. Police Scotland said the Denny High pupil's death was not being treated as suspicious.
Bracklinn Falls is a series of waterfalls on the Keltie Water near Callander in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

"Charlie was a highly-valued member of our school community and was held in great affection by so many pupils, staff and in the wider community.
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends at this distressing time."
He added: "This is an incredibly challenging time for our whole school community, and the impact of this loss is deeply felt, and he will be sorely missed by staff and pupils.
"We have put in appropriate support for our pupils and staff as we come to terms with this tragic loss."
