Driver dies five days after car and lorry crash

A 45-year-old man has died five days after his car was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Callander.

The crash, which happened on the A84 near McLaren Terrace at about 03:50 on Friday, involved a Renault Kangoo and a lorry.

The driver of the car was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, but died on Wednesday.

Police have appealed for anyone in the area at the time to come forward.

Sgt Michael Shillington said: "Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this crash.

"If anyone has dash-cam footage, please review it and get in touch if it holds any detail which could be relevant."
