Two teenagers have pleaded not guilty to murdering a man in his 40s, a court has heard.

Two boys, aged 15 and 17, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, are accused of killing Hamid Erfani in Larput Place, Cheltenham, on 16 December.

Both appeared briefly at a pre-trial hearing at Bristol Crown Court earlier to confirm their names and enter pleas.

They were remanded in custody and will remain at a youth detention centre. A trial date is expected to be fixed at a hearing next week.
