A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 74-year-old man.

Gwent Police said officers attended a property in Bythway Road, Trevethin, Torfaen, at about 16:55 BST on Thursday, after reports of a man suffering serious injuries.

The man, who has been named as Nicholas "Brian" Parfitt, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 34-year-old man from Cwmbran has since been arrested.

Parfitt's family said he was a "well-loved dad and grandad" and said his death had been a shock.
