Subsidised transport charity celebrates 25 years
Wheels 2 Work South WestA Cornish charity that provides subsidised two-wheeled transport to people in the South West is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Wheels 2 Work South West is marking the occasion with a spring open day at its Launceston workshop from 11:00-15:00 BST.
Members of the public have been invited to explore the organisation's new space, meet the team, and find out more about how the charity helps people access employment, education and training.
The charity receives funding from a number of organisations to help subsidise hire costs.
Motorcyclists have also been encouraged to attend, with free vehicle health checks available on the day.
The event is free to attend and Wheels 2 Work South West said it was open for anyone to attend.
Max Jowett, Chief Executive of Wheels 2 Work South West said: "Reaching 25 years is a huge achievement for us.
"This event is not only a celebration of how far we've come, but also a chance to open our doors to the community, showcase our new workshop, and highlight the difference accessible transport can make to people's lives."
Attendees have also been encouraged to bring friends, family, or anyone who may benefit from or be interested in the charity's work.
