Three more arrested after man, 18, dies in crash
BBCThree more men have been arrested after a man died following a crash between a car and an off-road bike.
Police were called to Pen Cae Crwn Road, in Gorseinon, Swansea at 12:58 BST on Thursday where a man, believed to be an 18-year-old from Swansea, was pronounced dead.
Another man, aged 19, was taken to hospital with injuries.
The total number arrested is now five after two 18-year-old men were held on suspicion of murder on Thursday.
On Friday South Wales Police said it had now arrested a 33-year-old man, from Gorseinon, on suspicion of murder; a 38-year-old man, from Gowerton, on suspicion of assisting an offender; and a 38-year-old man, from Mount Pleasant, on the same charge.
Some roads remained closed as officers investigated on Friday morning.
Elsewhere cordons were lifted but cones, signs and blue-and-white tape pushed to the side of the street remained.
The smell of disinfectant hung in the air where roads had been cleaned.
Gorseinon Rugby Club chairman Ian Murphy said people were in "deep shock".
"For youngsters to get involved in a tragedy like this is shocking and disturbing, very disturbing for us all," he said.
"Everybody was talking about it, all the roads were closed by police and ambulances, so it took a while for it to sink in what was going on.
"We were aware that there might have been a chase in a car and [on] a motorbike, and the full tragedy unfolded from there."
