A 48-year-old man died in Main Street in Linlithgow.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested after the death of a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash in West Lothian.

The 48-year-old man died at the scene of the incident on Main Street, Linlithgow, at about 00:20 on Sunday

Police Scotland had been trying to trace the occupants of the grey Renault Clio involved in the crash.

The force said its inquiries were ongoing.
