Bid to expand dog walking site wins approval
Getty ImagesA bid to expand a dog-walking facility with a new paddock has been approved by Peterborough City Council.
The plan will see part of a field at Grange Farm, Wittering, converted into a fenced dog-walking area, along with parking for up to 10 cars.
It will be the third paddock at the farm. The applicant said it would allow the use of the fields to be rotated.
The planning application stated the site would operate with a booking system, with sessions available in 30-minute and one-hour slots and each session able to accommodate up to 10 dogs.
It will be open seven days a week during daylight hours, and there will be no lights installed.
Approving the application this week, the council said parking and turning areas must be in place before the site is used.
