Man, 62, arrested after gun and £90,000 of heroin recovered

A 62-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a gun, bullets and £90,000 of heroin was recovered by police at a home in Glasgow.

Police Scotland said officers searched the property on Auckland Wynd in Dalmarnock on Wednesday.

Det Supt Steven Elliot said: "Drugs cause misery in our communities and we continue to work to remove them from our streets."

The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.
