Appeal after woman punched and kicked on train
BTPPolice are appealing for witnesses after a woman was punched and kicked on a train.
British Transport Police (BTP) said at the time of the attack, the train was travelling from London to Scotland, and was between Doncaster and Newark Northgate stations at about 11:20 BST on 2 August.
The woman "was punched several times and kicked by a male" before "several people came to [her] aid", BTP said, and the suspect "fled to another part of the train".
The suspect is described as white, about 15 to 20 years old, slim and with short brown hair. He was wearing a light blue baseball cap, black jacket, white T-shirt, with black writing on the front and black shorts.
