Loss of office and retirement payouts top £191k
Chris Craddock/BBCStates members who lost their seats in Jersey's election earlier this month or decided to step down will receive £191,433 between them.
The figure also includes long service retirement awards - made to those with 19 years or more of continuous service, the States of Jersey said.
The top payment is for St Helier's former constable Simon Crowcroft who will receive more than £36,000 for his 30 years of service.
This is the final election that those eligible for the retirement bonus will get a payout.
The payouts for unsuccessful candidates in the election include housing minister and leader of Jersey's Reform Party Sam Mézec who will receive more than £15,000.
Environment minister Steve Luce who ran for election as a senator will be given £18,000 and Kevin Lewis who ran for re-election as constable receives more than £25,000 as a loss of office payment.
Rob Ward, who was minister for education and lifelong learning in the last government, is set to take home more than £9,000.
Overall eight politicians who lost their seat will receive more than £98,000 between them.
