Police investigating ram-raid arrest teenage boy
Gabrielle StonePolice investigating a ram-raid at a high street off-licence have arrested a teenage boy and say three suspects remain at large after a pursuit.
Norfolk Police said it was called to reports of a burglary in progress in the High Street in Watton at about 04:54 BST on Wednesday.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, aggravated burglary and possession of a knife or bladed article.
He was questioned at King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre and released on bail until 7 October.
The force said a telehandler was used to rip the machine from the wall and all vehicles, including the cash machine were recovered.
It is believed four people were involved, using a blue Nissan Navara and a red Alfa Romeo.
Officers carried out a pursuit which led them to the village of Weeting where extensive searches were carried out by officers on foot, drone officers and police dogs.
No injuries were reported and inquiries were ongoing, police said.
The force is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any suspicious activity in the area or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
