Only one closure will be in place at any one time due to clashing diversion routes

Two roads in a town will be closed for up to a month to allow gas works to take place.

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council is putting a temporary traffic regulation order in place for Queen Anne Drive and Canford Magna in Poole.

Only one closure will be in place at any one time due to clashing diversion routes with no parking, waiting, loading and unloading at any time during the road closure.

The order allows Canford Magna to be closed from Floral Farm to its junction with Queen Anne Drive and then Queen Anne Drive eastbound from its junction with Gravel Hill to its junction with Montacute Way between 29 June and 28 August.

BCP says emergency services access will be maintained as will access to properties depending on site safety.

SGN has been contacted for comment.
