Channel 4New images have been unveiled of a new "suburban thriller" written by Welsh screenwriter Russell T Davies.
Tip Toe, a five-part Channel 4 series, follows electrician Clive, who has two teenage sons, and Leo, who runs a bar on Manchester's Canal Street, the city's LGBT district.
The show explores the "most corrosive forces" facing the LGBT community today, "examining the danger as prejudice creeps back into our lives", according to an earlier release by Channel 4.
It follows Swansea-born Davies' award winning series It's a Sin, about a group of young friends living in London during the HIV/Aids crisis in the 1980s, as well as Queer As Folk, also set in Manchester
It's a Sin, starring pop star Olly Alexander, became an instant hit on Channel 4's streaming service and sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust also reported a surge in HIV testing after its launch.
Channel 4A Tip Toe clip was also released featuring Alan Cumming as Leo and and David Morrissey as Clive, while Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo stars as the bar's manager Judy, and Paul Rhys as Melba, a Canal Street fixture.
Channel 4 described Tip Toe as a "tense suburban thriller which challenges everything we consider to be safe".
Davies previously said he felt he needed to write the show because "the world is getting stranger, tougher and darker, and frankly, the fight is on".
