Wall Street bounces back after this week's tech sell-off

US shares are staging a comeback this Friday after a week that saw a steep sell-off in tech stocks amid fears over massive spending on AI, and whether it will pay off. Rising to the rescue is Amazon, whose stock is soaring after reporting its strongest quarterly revenue growth in four years. All three of Wall Street's main indexes look set to finish the week higher. But zooming out, July will still be a month to forget for many investors, with stocks remaining in the red for the month. Samira Hussain has been speaking to Ed Moya, Investment Strategist at AlphaSense in New York, about what has been driving the recovery.
