Video shows how drought is affecting the South

Drone footage has shown the impact caused by drought conditions in the south of England.

The Environment Agency declared a drought for more than half of England on Wednesday, brought about by a combination of low rainfall and high temperatures.

The heatwave has meant rivers are running low, farmers are having to harvest crops early and the risk of wildfires is increasing.

Video footage from across Berkshire, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight reveals how parts of those areas have changed from earlier this year.
