Two people killed as floods hit Spain's Catalonia region
Two people have died in Spain's north eastern Catalonia region and another person is missing due to heavy rains and flooding, according to local authorities.
Firefighters in Catalonia said they had responded to more than 1,500 calls for help.
Residents have been urged to stay home in areas near the Ridaura and Darro rivers, which had burst their banks.
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said on Sunday the situation in Catalonia remained "very complicated".
