Moment rescuers cheer as man pulled from rubble after Venezuela earthquakes
Spain’s Military Emergency Unit has released footage of a man being rescued from the wreckage of a building in Maiquetia, following Venezuela's deadly earthquakes.
As the man is pulled out of the rubble feet first, he is seen with a huge grin as his rescuers cheer around him.
Officials have confirmed at least 1430 deaths from the magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes that struck on Wednesday. "Every person saved is a miracle," Jorge Rodríguez, president of the country's National Assembly, has said.
