Earl Spencer's claims about King's reaction to Diana's death opens old wounds
Earl Spencer has said he sees "echoes" of what happened to his sister, Princess Diana, in the media treatment of Harry and Meghan.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who recently returned to the UK six years after stepping back from royal duties, have repeatedly criticised the media.
Speaking to the BBC, Earl Spencer described intense press scrutiny as a "cancerous influence" and said that people should learn from Diana's experience.
His comments come alongside claims about King Charles's reaction to Diana's death, which have reopened old wounds for the Royal Family.
