Crowd rescues ice cream van from beach

A crowd of holidaymakers and locals clubbed together to free a trapped ice cream van which was stuck in the sand on a beach.

The beach-goers rushed to free the vehicle from the wet sand at Polzeath in Cornwall.

After pushing and pulling at the van, the group were victorious and managed to get it moving once again.
