Lyse Doucet: Iran sending 'mixed messages' on talks

Iran continues to send mixed messages over whether it will attend peace talks in Pakistan. US Vice-President JD Vance will reportedly travel to Pakistan on Tuesday, but Tehran hasn't yet confirmed it will send a delegation for talks in Islamabad.

Lyse Doucet is reporting from Tehran on condition that none of her material is used on the BBC's Persian Service. These restrictions apply to all international media organisations operating in Iran.
