Back garden dig unearths historic clay pipe

A group of amateur archeologists from Devon are practicing their skills, by digging in back gardens.

Earlier in the year, the Teignbridge Archeological Society put the call out for volunteers to help with training, including site photography and record keeping, as well as the digging techniques themselves.

The group have promised the garden will be put back as it was by the end of the day.
