Villagers delighted 3,000 homes removed from plan
Villagers are welcoming the removal of a potential 3,000 homes near Peterborough from the city council's draft Local Plan.
Campaigners in Castor and Ailsworth have opposed development of farmland for years. The wider plan will decide where 20,000 new homes are built by 2043.
