Motorcyclist dies after roundabout crash

A motorcyclist has died after an accident at a roundabout.

Norfolk Police was called to the A1270 Broadland Northway at Taverham at 18:09 BST on Friday.

The green Kawasaki had been heading towards Fakenham and a man, in his 30s, died at the scene.

It is believed to be the eighth fatal road crash in Norfolk involving a motorbike this year.

The road was closed while emergency services attended including the fire service, air ambulance and ambulance.

The road reopened at about 04:00 on Saturday.

Officers said the cause of the accident had not yet been established and appealed for witnesses or dashcam footage.
