Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash on the East Lancashire Road

A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car, police have said.

The man, in his 40s, was involved in the collision in Worsley, Salford, at about 14:00 BST on Friday, Greater Manchester Police said.

Both vehicles were at the junction of East Lancashire Road and Old Clough Lane, officers added.

They appealed for anyone with information and footage to contact them.
