Arrests after man seriously injured in stabbing
GoogleTwo people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Derby.
Derbyshire Police were called to Wollaton Road, Chaddesden, at 17:30 BST on Thursday following reports a man had been stabbed.
The force said firearms officers attended the scene and a 19-year-old man was found to have suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Police said a 19-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, both from the Derby area, were arrested by armed officers in Nottinghamshire on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remained in police custody.
The force said it was not believed there were any links to stabbings on Wednesday in Peckham Gardens, Mackworth, and Ramshaw Way in the Stockbrook area.
