Stacey Hogg was found dead in Hawick on Thursday morning

A 39-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman in the Scottish Borders.

Stacey Hogg, 35, was found dead at a property in McLagan Drive, Hawick, on Thursday at about 07:20.

Lee Inglis, from the town, appeared in private at Selkirk Sheriff Court charged with her murder.

He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination. Inglis was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again next week.
