Boy, 13, dies after two-vehicle motorway crash
Getty ImagesA 13-year-old boy from Cornwall has died after two vehicles crashed on the M4.
Wiltshire Police said the crash took place at about 20:00 BST on 18 July between junctions 16 at Swindon and 17 at Chippenham of the M4 on the westbound carriageway.
The teenager had been a passenger in a Toyota RAV-4 which had been involved in a a collision with a Renault van.
A woman who had also been a passenger in the Toyota was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police added.
Officers said neither of the drivers of the vehicles had been seriously injured.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said their thoughts were with the family of the teenager "at this incredibly difficult time".
They urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
