Two men arrested for human trafficking and rape
PA MediaTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and rape.
Detectives said they arrested the pair after an Essex Police investigation into human trafficking for sexual exploitation, rape and other sexual offences.
The men, aged 57 and 32, were both held on suspicion of rape, human trafficking for sexual exploitation and administering a noxious substance.
Officers had searched properties in Danbury, Maldon and Braintree.
Det Insp Lydia George said anyone with information should contact her team via the major incident public portal.
