Parts from a small four-seater aeroplane have been damaged and stolen while it was parked up near an aircraft hangar.

Northamptonshire Police said a radio and a headliner from the roof of the Cessna 182, and a pair of Bose headphones, were stolen from Irchester Road, Wollaston, between Tuesday 23 and Saturday 27 June.

Damage was also caused to its instruments, flight controls and internal cabling.

It has appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
