Thousands have attended Ladies Day at Royal Ascot in their finest hats and high-fashion.

Actor Stanley Tucci was among the famous faces hosted by King Charles after the Devil Wears Prada star arrived by carriage as part of the royal procession.

The King and Queen attended for a second time on Thursday, having attended the first day on Tuesday.

One of the highlights of the summer social calendar, it is taking place over five days at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
