Appeal after woman bitten by dog in city
GoogleA police investigation is under way after a woman was bitten by a dog in Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Police said officers have been carrying out inquiries in the area following the incident on Broad Lanes, at about 09:30 BST on Friday 12 June.
"The woman, in her 40s, was bitten on the chest during the incident, when a man in charge of a dog attempted to assist with a separate incident," the force said.
Police said they want to speak to a man who was in charge of a black and tan dog, believed to be a Belgian Malinois. The man was driving a white van and he is described as white, aged about 30, of thin build, with short fair hair.
The force urged anyone with information to call police on 101, use LiveChat or call Crimestoppers anonymously.
