Appeal as motorcyclist and passenger hurt in crash

Police have appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist and his pillion passenger were seriously injured in a crash with a car.

It happened in Kings Hedges Road, at the junction of Lovell Road in Cambridge, at about 10:35 BST on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old rider of a beige and black Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle, and his 20-year-old passenger, were both taken to hospital where they remain in a serious condition.

A 74-year-old man who was driving the car, a grey Citroen Grand Picasso, was uninjured.
