Burst main leaves residents without water
Getty ImagesA burst main has left scores of residents without running water as temperatures peak at 26C (78F).
The issue was reported earlier in the GL7 postcode in Gloucestershire, affecting areas including Cirencester, Bibury and Barnsley.
It comes as temperatures soared to 35C (95F) in parts of the UK this week, and two days after a water main burst in Bourton-on-the-Water.
A Thames Water spokesperson said crews are working to repair the pipe and apologised to residents who have been left without tap water as the hot weather continues.
