Man who 'discreetly supplied' class A drugs jailed
Gloucestershire PoliceA man who police say "discreetly supplied large quantities" of heroin and cocaine into a county has been jailed.
Mohammed Bham, from Gloucester and of no fixed address, was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday. He had previously admitted to Class A drug and criminal property offences.
Gloucestershire Police said officers seized a total of about 755g of cocaine and 625g of heroin, which had a combined estimated street value of about £100,000, from a property and two storage units linked to Bham.
Det Insp Matt Dill said Bham, 37, was supplying drugs into Gloucestershire for "significant personal financial gain".
At an earlier hearing, Bham pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug - heroin and cocaine - alongside one count of possession of criminal property.
Gloucestershire PolicePolice launched an investigation after receiving intelligence that Bham was supplying drugs, and arrested him on 11 February as he left a property he was renting in Barnwood, Gloucester, and got into a Mercedes that was parked outside.
Officers then searched the property and found a quantity of cocaine, a quantity of heroin and about £3,000 in cash.
They also discovered he was renting two self-storage units in Gloucester, and later found a bag containing about £100,000 in cash and more class A drugs.
Officers also found several air pistols, two crossbows and two machetes.
Gloucestershire PoliceDet Insp Dill, from Gloucestershire Constabulary's serious and organised crime unit, said: "Mohammed Bham was discreetly supplying large quantities of Class A drugs into Gloucestershire for significant personal financial gain.
"His conviction and sentence reflect the skilful and diligent work of the investigation team, and our commitment to tackling serious and organised crime within Gloucestershire and bringing those who seek to benefit from dealing drugs to justice."
