Three people taken to hospital after house fire
Hayley Coyle/BBCThree people have been taken to hospital for "precautionary checks" following a house fire in South Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to Dalton Lane, in the Dalton area of Rotherham, with the road closed from the junction with Hardwick Street to Creswick Road.
Nearby Trinity Croft Church of England Primary Academy delayed opening until 10:30 BST, but has since opened for pupils and staff.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (SYFRS) said crews had left the scene at about 11:30, adding that the cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
A nearby resident, who did not want to be named, told the BBC the fire had broken out "early this morning" and described the smoke as "massive".
They said: "There was a lot of smoke and emergency services sent a crane too."
