Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after crash

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said the incident happened at about 16:15 BST on Saturday on the A429 Fosse Way in Stow-on-the-Wold.

The collision took place near Old Quarry Farm, and involved a silver Triumph Trident motorbike and a blue Volkswagen Polo, police confirmed.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for treatment, where he remains for treatment. Officers have urged anyone with relevant information to get in touch.
