Roads closed following serious two-vehicle crash

Several road closures are in place after a "serious crash" involving two cars.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said the incident occurred on the A4136 Mireystock Crossroads, near Upper Lydbrook in the Forest of Dean, at about 16:55 BST.

Roads in the surrounding area have been closed and motorists have been told to find alternative routes, with closures expected to remain in place for some time.

Police said emergency services remain in attendance at the scene.
