Fire crews were called to the Melton Mowbray area on Monday night

Emergency services were called to a large warehouse fire near Melton Mowbray on Monday.

Dalby Road in Melton Mowbray was shut by Leicestershire Police at about 21:30 BST while fire crews tackled the blaze at the former Melton Airfield.

The force asked people to avoid the area due to the incident.

Residents nearby were told to close doors and windows.
