Man in 80s seriously injured after being hit by bus
Leicester Media OnlineA man in his 80s has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a bus.
Leicestershire Police said officers were called to Melton Road, Queniborough, at about 15:35 BST on Monday following a crash involving a pedestrian and a bus.
The force said the man remains in hospital. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported.
No other injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.
Detectives are working to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
Det Sgt Jack Cornick, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We have been speaking to a number of people at the scene but if you do have any information and have not yet spoken to us, I would urge you to make contact."
