Pedestrian injured as bus crashes into building

A pedestrian was injured when a bus crashed into a building in west London on Friday evening.

The H98 service hit the building on Station Road near Hayes and Harlington station at about 19:30 BST, becoming embedded in a wall.

A video circulating on social media shows the bus driving on to a mini-roundabout, looping around and crashing into the building.

It appears to push a car and knock a man to the ground, before becoming lodged in the wall. The London Ambulance Service said a man was treated at the scene but was not taken to hospital.

A TfL spokesperson said: "Safety is our top priority and we and the bus operator, First Bus, are assisting the police to establish what happened."

First Bus has been contacted for comment.
