A man has denied allegations of assault at a residential facility for young people with special educational needs.

Olawale Ishola, 36, pleaded not guilty to assault by beating at Acacia Hall in Friesthorpe, near Market Rasen.

A further charge of common assault was dismissed when he appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court earlier, and Ishola has been released on conditional bail.

He is due to appear at the same court for a trial starting on 19 November.
