Thames Valley Police confirmed Abdul Wali Mamozai from Bracknell was found dead

A man who was found dead, sparking a murder investigation, has been named by police.

Thames Valley Police said the body of Abdul Wali Mamozai, 33, from Bracknell was found in the Market Street area of Bracknell shortly before 12:00 BST on Sunday.

Four men from Bracknell, aged 35, 27 and two aged 33, arrested on suspicion of murder and assault by beating, have been released on bail.

The force appealed for anyone with relevant information to come forward.

Det Supt Kevin Brown, urged people not to speculate about the details of the case or circulate "innaccurate information".

He said: "We are continuing to investigate the circumstances around Mr Mamozai's death to fully understand the events that have led to this sad loss of life."

Bracknell MP Peter Swallow MP had said he was "deeply shocking and sad" to hear about the incident".
