Police are treating the stabbing of two men at a retail park in Stirling as attempted murder.

The attack, which happened outside a unit at Burghmuir Retail Park, was reported about 19:15 on Saturday.

Two men, aged 46 and 38, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment for their injuries, which were described as serious but were not thought to be life-threatening.

Det Ch Insp Scott Roxburgh said inquiries were ongoing and urged anyone with information to get in touch.

"As well as the location at the retail park, we are also carrying out enquiries at nearby Colquhoun Street," he said.

He urged anyone who may have "witnessed any disturbance in these areas", or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage, to contact police.
