Kent and Canterbury Hospital is installing solar canopies at some of its car parks.

Hospital visitors are being warned of disruption due to work to install solar panel canopies at the site's car parks.

Kent and Canterbury Hospital plans to close a section of one of its car parks for nine weeks from Tuesday, while the bus stop near its fracture clinic will be closed.

A separate car park will then be at half capacity for nine weeks from early July.

The hospital said signage and staff would be on site to guide visitors and that spaces in a staff car park would be made available.
