Furniture store to close in town after 15 years
GoogleA furniture shop is to close after 15 years in the West Midlands.
Leekes, in Bilston, announced on its website it would shut on 2 August and had started a closing-down sale.
The firm, which has six other outlets, said while searching for a partner for the store "we found a vendor who wanted the entire site".
"It was a tremendously difficult decision to make as we've loved our 15 years in the West Midlands," a Leekes spokesperson added.
Leekes said it had been looking for a partner to join us "taking part of our Bilston store" for some time.
"Our store has now started its closing-down sale with bargains galore and we will continue to trade until 2nd August," the spokesperson added.
The company added its other stores remained open and thanked everyone who had shopped at the Bilston branch on Great Bridge Road.
